The Team Cecilia Award “seeks to recognize individuals
who exemplify the positive spirit of the sport through
acts of sportsmanship, leadership, and their efforts to
grow a more diverse and inclusive multisport field.”  

​Angela was the recipient of this amazing award in 2022 (below) and this year Coach Liz was lucky enough to follow suit.....this award is really a reflection of the amazing triathlon community in Kansas City that fosters support and inclusivity > major props to Shawnee Mission Park Triathlon and Duathlon Race Director, Katy Renner, for prioritizing this kind of spirit and making this award possible!!
