Congrats to Lisa, Kelly, and Marcella on your fantastic results in Oklahoma City yesterday.
You all had great races! Red Ladies truly rock! - Leslie
Mastering Triathlon
I am totally LOVING triathlons!! I was really excited to get through that race yesterday and I felt great. The swim was
a challenge but I definitely knew I could finish (now I just need to get faster). I think I could of/should of pushed it
more on the run. My previous races, the run was really hard, so I took it easy (knowing that it was going to be so hilly) but
I ended up feeling great the whole run. Whatever you did to get me there, THANK YOU!!! You are an awesome coach!!!!
That is so evident in all the Red Ladies who are are there kicking booty. Everyone was so prepared thanks to you.
I know I have a LOOONG way to go to get to Austin, but I'm really excited about it.
Thanks again for everything!!
- Kim
Conquering Goals
Longest ride of my life! What a great experience! Beat my goal by 50 min. michelle G @ redman
Pushing limits
I was scared to exercise in such heat, but it went surprising well! I didn't push it and went pretty slow, but the
heat didn't limit me from finishing. I only went up that hill once, but the bike portion was still 27 minutes.
Thanks for putting on this camp; it was an eye-opener for me. - Pam
Conquering the swim
It sounds stupid, but I was on cloud nine today after getting in the pool. Seriously.
Thank you so much! It was awesome!!! -Jennifer D
A year ago, I couldn't swim 25 yards in the pool. Heck, I didn't have the courage to even get away from the wall,
I was so terrified of drowning! Marcela Renna coaxed me to give the Reds a try, and boy am I glad she did!
The one and only Liz Weidling brought me to the point where I can now say I swam 500 m! In a lake!
And biked and swam after that! I think it will take me a few days to come down from this cloud I am floating on.
Proud to be part of this amazing group! :-D PH
Detail in the training plans
Hey, I've been meaning to tell you I love the detail in your winter plan. Just this morning it helped
so much to keep me on the bike because you had the workout spelled out so well!! - Lisa
Biking Long
I wanted you to know I successfully completed the 56 miles route at the Tour de Lakes today. I tried to ride
as much of it as possible with the 85+ cadence you wanted me to work on and I finished feeling pretty good.
My training rides before your awesome advice ending with huge amounts of pain in my quads from lactic acid.
So, THANKS! I think I may feel good enough to try tomorrow's scheduled 5 miles run.
Thanks again, Andrea
Riding on the roads
Hi Liz,
It was a tough ride (the traffic can be intimidating) but I did survive, Lisa did great with me.
I fell twice so now I am an official "RedLady" with brusies. See you in the Morning! - Grace
On the group
And, I agree, this is an incredible group of women!! You are all amazing

Keeping your Sense of Humor!!
Well I debated sharing this story publicly, but laughed too much at myself not to: This morning after doing a light
ride at heritage park, I proceed to get in my car with my bike helmet still securely fastened. I only realized it when I came to a
stoplight and reached down to scratch my leg and unexpectedly hit my helmet on the window of the car.
For all those doing the Aloha Tri this weekend, please make sure I don't try to run with my helmet on! @TheReds and Liz Weidling"

I was blown away last night by the card and gift... did not see that one coming AT ALL. You guys make
it so easy for me to want to be where ever you are, whether I am on the injured list or not. I have
probably learned more over the past few months than any other time in my life about the value of teamwork
and friendship and how important that is.... and how important you guys are to me. This is a pretty incredible
crew of women. I am humbled and honored to be a part it.
Thank you all so much. - JWC
